UK Ancestry visa

The UK Ancestry visa permits Commonwealth citizens with grandparents born in the UK to live and work in the UK. Unlike other visa categories, there are no restrictions on the type and amount of work, and permanent residency is possible after living in the UK for five years provided they meet the requirements and rules. The spouse, civil or unmarried partner, and dependant children of the main applicant, can be included in the application.
