Sponsorship license

UK Companies intending to sponsor(employ) non-British citizens or non-EEA citizens would be required to have a UKVI sponsorship license and be on the UKVI Tier 2 and 5 registers of a sponsor.

Our business immigration lawyers focus on obtaining new sponsorship licenses for businesses regardless of their size. We have an employer-friendly and focused approach which provides business owners and human resources personnel with a complete managed solution. The entire process will be project managed by us from the point successful issuance of a license by the UKVI to the visa being granted to the prospective employee.

We will commence the process by scheduling an initial telephone call with the firm’s key contact. That is, the relevant human resources officer or even the migrant who wishes to be sponsored. This will enable us to ascertain the eligibility of the company for the issuance of the license. During the application process, we will visit your site to carry out a mock audit in a bid to ensure that the company meets the necessary requirements in relations to the issuance of the license.

Sponsorship licence application process

The application process is different stages:

➢ Resident Labour Market Test (RLMT): The sponsor (company) would need to test the employment market to be sure there are no British Citizen or EEA Citizen who can fill the post or vacancy. The specific job role would be advertised for 28 days in accordance with to the UKVI requirements.

➢ Tier 2 Sponsorship Licence: We will assist with the competition of the online application form and the review of all the specified supporting documents.

➢ Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS): The CoS is what the sponsor issues to the employee for their Tier 2 visa application. CoS can either be restricted or unrestricted. We will assist the company to apply for CoS.

We also train sponsors on compliance with their sponsors duties and the management of the SMS (Sponsorship Management System). Contact us on 07429429892, 02038563516 or info@dmlawpractice.com for your licence application.
